As a repair technician, you will primarily be responsible for routine maintenance, repairs after fault reports, and maintenance projects, either independently or as part of a team. In addition to fault reports, residents and customers order various minor services such as repair tasks in homes and premises, and ongoing communication with residents, customers, and contractors is therefore an essential part of the job. You will also handle the procurement of consumables and care for your own work equipment.

Your Responsibilities

The position of repair technician is a varied and independent role with your own responsibility. Your daily tasks include:

• Routine maintenance after fault reports
• Troubleshooting
• Repairs and maintenance in electrical, construction, plumbing, and minor ventilation work
• Managing daily customer contacts

You will work with a mobile phone or computer to receive and report your work. You will work both independently and with your colleagues, and you are expected to solve the challenges you face in your work on your own. You will plan your workday together with your colleagues and your team leader.

As an employee at Riksbyggen, you are also expected to be a member of one or more condominium associations. If you have a board member assignment, a responsibility fee will be paid.

Your Skills and Engagement

You should have a positive attitude towards your work, our customers, and your coworkers. It is also important that you are service-oriented, quality-conscious, and able to organize your work effectively.

You have a high school education and/or vocational training with a focus on property management or administration, as well as a professional certificate in plumbing or electrical work, or equivalent skills acquired in other ways. We would also like you to have experience in similar work.

Since computers and mobile phones are a natural part of the work for all employees at Riksbyggen, we prefer that you have some computer skills and can handle a computer in your job. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills through internal training.

The position is a permanent employment with placement in Skellefteå, but work in other locations within the market area may occur.

The position requires a B driver's license.
